This is not a tour—it’s a rare, behind-the-scenes immersion into the soul of Oaxaca. Designed for those who see the world through a creative lens, this experience offers private access to the artisans, makers, and traditions that define one of the most color-rich regions in the world. You won’t just observe—you’ll participate, learn, and create.

From walking mezcal fields and understanding the artistry behind every bottle, to painting alongside celebrated Oaxacan artists, each moment is intentionally curated to deepen your connection to craft and culture.

You’ll witness how woodblock printing becomes a voice for social change, explore markets layered with raw pigments and natural dyes, and discover how color is cultivated from the earth itself, not merely chosen.

Through cooking, tasting, creating, and exploring, you’ll engage all senses—gaining a refined understanding of how color, texture, and tradition intersect in ways that cannot be replicated in a studio or showroom.

Jennifer is an award winning Interior designer + certified architectural & forecast color expert who has traveled across the globe experiencing color & cultures.

Catherine, the founder of Bright Light Volunteers, leads with Raquel, our local female guide, to introduce us to the inner hidden magic of the city & surrounding areas.

With over 20 years of experience working with homes, materials, and architectural color, Jen brings a trained eye that shifts how you see space.

Her work is rooted in the belief that color isn’t an afterthought—it’s the foundation.
