Fresh water well installation, school building, and sanitation projects such as latrines and wash station construction to improve hygiene.

Hands-on, immersive cultural learning includes taking part in authentic tribal ceremonies, learning traditional cooking techniques, visiting the renowned Kente weavers of Kpetoe, a visit to the Wili Waterfalls — the tallest in West Africa — and visiting the Tafi-Atome Monkey Sanctuary. For those who wish to incorporate a historical tour into the program, a guided, interpretive visit to the Elmina and Cape Coast Slave Castles can be arranged — both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Service project opportunities abound in this majestically beautiful country. Working on infrastructure projects in a local center for at-risk youth, teams will be able to complete projects such as building a safe playground, installing safety equipment, and general work to improve the facilities.

Via relationships and partnerships developed with local NGOs in the host community, we have developed several service project initiatives in and around Antigua that provide opportunities to teach, practice English language instruction and conversational practice, create technology workshops with village school children, and offer a variety of employment skill training programs.


Culturally immersive experiences include a full day visit to the Mayan villages that encircle the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lake Atitlan, a walking photography tour of historic downtown Antigua, and an interactive culinary tour of the local markets followed by a group cooking lesson.
